The reason for the creation of Cape Tuner and why the name?
Cape Tuner came about as a way to fill a void that I felt there was in the car community in Cape Town and South Africa as a whole.
In many countries there seems to be a big and growing car community where each car guy or girl will help the other. And this is what seems lacking, together with a shortage of parts or just the awareness of what to find what you need and thus the possibilities for us South Africans seem limited.
This is where Cape Tuner comes in, Cape as in Cape Town, and Tuner as in someone who modifies and tinkers with their car, be it from changing your own oil to installing your own turbo, it's all about the passion for cars.
Thus another way of thinking of Cape Tuner is Cape as in super hero, as you become a hero to another by helping them out with car related problems from as small as where to find a good front lip/splitter, just making things easier for one another and having a place to find out new things, upcoming events etc.
